  10. birthday is around the corner and the anti-tag was hilarious.
I didnt know that there was an extra charge for not having a minimum balance . . .
So no matter what ! U must owe the bank or they'll charge ?
That is so despicable man ! So this is the dark side of the bank force ! !

  11. UOB suck. I cancelled all my cards from UOB too. Normally when u say u wanna cancel your card, everything will be waived. Think they're terrible-Taking advantage of those ppl who never complaint.

    Anyway, Happy Earliet Birthday!

  12. goddamn ploy to remind us the birthday. ptui

FA: Doggone it. It stopped being funny after the 8th comment. I'll make it dissapear now. stfu already, fuckers

  13. Thumbs up...never give in to those legal loan sharks!!

Btw, wat da anti-tag thingy for??

    ReplyDelete
  14. You should cut the chip. If the card is not cancelled by UOB and the chip is still in one piece, the card is still usable.

  15. Lol. Saw their 'credit card pushers' over the weekend and what sweet promises they tell you. That was really funny ;)

It's all about the small print.

    ReplyDelete
  16. STFU really, credit cards suck, I can't get one.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I bet you KNNCCB them when calling the card center to cancel the card. Expecially the part of ,"Sorry sir/miss, we can't cancel your card from the phone, you must send the card cutted in half by mail or to our nearest branches".

And some bank will issue "loyalty" gold card to you after many years with them, do not activate it unless you want to pay RM150-RM250 annual "renewal fees".

Hmmm, maybe you should blog more about your credit card, I think all the readers can tell you some scary story.

  24. Why can't I see the birthday info? When is it? Is there any plot for money accumulation to buy FA's birthday present next week?

  25. Lainie: do you even need to ask?

    ReplyDelete
  26. you look better with long hair.

    ReplyDelete
  27. C'mon you guys, don't be such pricks and bitches, complaining about her being deliberate on showing her birth date. Give the girl a break. And you call yourself her fan readers, ptui

    ReplyDelete
  28. Nobody does it better than my ma. She cuts her card in front of said bank's staff in protest of charging her the annual fee. Drama queen. :P

    ReplyDelete
  29. If you don't even spend RM80 per month on the card, you don't really need the card. Good move on your part!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Her birthday was in her profile also la if you bothered to read it. Shoo shoo and quit crying.

Back to the credit card. They'll probably be dumb enough to ignore the letter and send you a replacement card.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Do you get more credit with a Lady's card than a Man's card?

    ReplyDelete
  32. UOB is high class siew lai lai credit card. That is why they can afford to do that and even lost a customer like you. *sigh...

  38. Happy belated birthday :)

Usually they always say 'Free for life' but hardly say who gets the free stuff right? They're referring to themselves! Free money!

FA: Belated? Not even here yet okay!

  39. [...] When one cuts up a credit card and mail it back to the bank in pieces, one will inevitably receive a phone call from one’s friendly neighbourhood customer service personnel…. FROM HELL. [...]

  41. I was searching for 'bad card credit credit people' at google and got this your post ('Bad Credit') in search results. Not very relevant result, but still interesting to read :)

  42. Do NOT use this card. I made a transfer to my card and never got it. They can't even afford a toll free number, that ought to tell you something! Still trying to get my money but keep getting disconnected, how hard can it be to transfer a call to a manager? Now, on the the BBB and Federal Reserve Bank to file fraud charges!!!!!!
