Nice one, I mean what you scolded. I'm pissed of with the price increment too. Seriously, it was nightmare for me. I was like stunned and all I tot was end of the world... 78 cents... wtf...
ReplyDeleteI like your style. You really put the right words in the right place. Way to go!!
ReplyDeleteafter the rant....still have to go and fill up at RM2.70/liter...isnt it? unless of course you want to brave the exodus right now...
ReplyDeletechill .... ahahah... nice way of expressing yourself... :)
ReplyDeleteapparently electricity also going up.
ReplyDeletelet's go COVA and mabukkan ourselves.
well, the reality is petrol prices are nowhere near where market prices are now are they ? are are you and some of your commentors saying that they want to live with a subsidy mentality ?
ReplyDeleteHee hee hee hee hee... thanks for ranting on everybody's behalf, FireAngel. Hmmm... you seem delightfully fiery and I wish you joy, pleasure and fabulous health :-)
ReplyDelete[...] ll Undebug ll Paultan ll Fireangel ll Lobaksoup [...]
ReplyDeleteOoo....the fiery angel :)
ReplyDeleteNobody is to be blamed. We've been enjoying a good subsidy for a very long time. Open up your eyes, the world crude oil prices are soaring too. If we really wanna f*ck someone, that would be our bosses, for not giving us increment despite all the price hikes going on :p
BTW, you started driving already ar?
I don’t fancy been subsidies also. But do you know how much more we pay for the taxes on car? The car we bought for 100k can simply get it in 60k other country. With 40k extra, how many liters of petro we help our government to subsidies back to us on petro? As long as taxes go down and oil price go up then it’s a fair game.
ReplyDeleteStop your whining you silly ho, malaysia is already dirty cheap for petrol prices, and to buy cars there is cheap as well relative to your neighbours!
ReplyDeleteFA: easy for you to say. you're earning like 2-3 times MORE than me DOLLAR PER DOLLAR. biatch.
Let's be more 3 dimensional G. This price hike will have a ripple effect on just about everything. The earning per capita of average malaysian is way lower compared to our Singaporean neighbours. In fact to top the cherry on this price hike sundae is an 18% increase in electricity while all other taxes seems still to be intact. Think about what will happen to the low income/ disabled or retired Malaysians.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the price increase but the way it's managed is totally messed up, causing stupid jams everywhere.
ReplyDeleteNow the billion question is how they're gonna use the money.
FA: Yeah stupid jams until after midnight even. Ridiculous. Money? Going into their own pockets lah duh.
Green Giant Monster....nice....
ReplyDeleteOoooohh... hulkrage.
ReplyDeleteDid someone write "earning per capita"? Here come the armchair pundits. LOL
I guess we all be walking soon.
ReplyDeletehehe... invest in Petronas shares... hedge your price hike to their stock. but hmm... malaysian market is just like a black box, not very transparent. so its better to just setup an account in SG and buy some energy comodity index.
ReplyDeletegood luck... soon, gas price > beer price... it is happening over here in the US now.
Dammit to Hell! I am so pissed off now!
ReplyDeleteI can bet you from this morning onwards, everything rises so that everyone would "want" Barisan National back.
Dammit, man.
Drive less, develop more alternative energy sources and use public transports. Then you won't have to buy those expensive cars, buy expensive petrol and make positive impact, protecting the environment.
ReplyDeleteFA: Let me guess, you're not Malaysian. Look this is the situation here - the O&G companies and the government have made no positive plans for alternative energy sources. Public transports don't work. ALL cars are expensive thanks to the inflated car excise duty. So I guess the only way we all can protect the environment is to either MOVE OUT of the country, or stay at home and die.
we have fucktards running the country, that's why. why are the bloody menteris always saying we have the lowest this and that. they fail to mention we have very low GDP per capita as well. they don't feel anything. why? they drive their bloody bigass menteri cars and pump petrol using OUR taxpayers money, they dont suffer jams.. what jams? got police excorts everywhere what... flooded roads? what flood? use helicopter lah! increase in other commodities... huh? whats that! every single penny of their expenses is OUR money, so what say u?
ReplyDeleteGetting mabuk will only cost you more money, with the price hike you want to get mabuk to make the situation worse ah?
ReplyDeletePrice hike... FUCK price hike.
I somehow think ah, this is BN strategy to screw the oppositon. It is like saying, "Here, i am going to screw the country up, i dare you to take over management!". Cibai!
Playing so dirty.
Aiyaa...
ReplyDeleteStill cheaper than Oz. Rite now I'm nearly broke, fuel goes up to $1.65 Oz $. and plus that is lowest grade of fuel plus ethanol 10%. I think when you calculate it, still cheaper there. Sigghhh
FA: Your car cheaper, your pay higher, your medical is free.
...medical not really free wei FA. still have to fork out first, plus we don't get 100% reimbursement. prices are going up everywhere, not just Malaysia.
ReplyDeletehaving said that, we're a nation that produces oil for fuck's sake. why the hell are we paying so much more? subsidies and funds being channeled to development elsewhere? reasonable, but where exactly? cronies' pockets?
fuck, i'm going to graduate soon and i really want to come home, but i dunno how the hell i'm supposed to survive with the increasing living expenses.
FA, you are correct. I am not a Malaysian. But besides blaming the politicians and the corporations one must first look at the fact that Malaysia is a democracy. So call your local MP and write letters to your leaderships. Support the local news media so they can keep the government in check as well as to inform the public. I have noticed heavy reliance of news on foreign media outlets such as BBC, CNN and Al Jazeera in Malaysia but those outlets don't really care about the Malaysian issues, do they? So support your local news media...buy their papers, watch their news, write to your local news editors and demand that its journalists are free to exercise their duty and their rights are protected. Make sure your politicians give journalists access to political process so that it is transparent to their constituents. Corruption and cronyism happens because its citizens tolerate it. If you want your country to become a strong nation, its citizens must take action...relying on others to do it for you will only result in disappointment. With that said, I must congratulate Malaysians for the recent election result. Events like that will eventually lead Malaysia to become a better and stronger nation.
ReplyDeleteWe are an oil producing country. By that fact, we should be benefiting from the global oil price increase but it seems to be that we are "bleeding" from it. Where is the logic-lah. Our BN guys also never explain to us why, as an oil exporting country, we are not benefiting from the price increase. So where are all the monies earned from our oil export go to???????? This BN govt. is just too much.
ReplyDeleteSorry for being off topic.....but it would be nice if u leave the innocent kids out of the swearing stuffs....Im a father and if u were a mother one day you will understand....the rest of the stuff I support 100%...
ReplyDeleteFA: ... then SPCA to come say leave pets out of it.... and building contractors will tell me to leave houses out of it ...
i find it amusing seeing one (myhorning) saying cars elsewhere is cheap.....just last week i was talking to a singaporean....and the fella said..malaysia cars cheap lah..bla bla...then yesterday, a malaysian said cars in europe cheap lah....bla bla....why is it always cars somewhere else is cheaper ah? how can i get to that 'somewhere else'?
ReplyDeletebtw, i rely more on public transport...
ront, then u must not been to many places then. u r just like the bloody government always comparing to those will make us look good. moron.
ReplyDeletemyhorng, it wasnt an attack to you. i am just saying most always say its cheaper somewhere else...i'd really like to know where and get there myself.
ReplyDeleteyou're free to make assumption that i have not been to many places....i feel i have not been to enough places myself.
think the name calling is just childish.
Hi. I would like to say that I'm a very pissed-off Sarawakian guy who just came back from the longhouse only to discover that boatmen have begun to charge double their fare, from RM4 to fucking RM 8. Very soon the people there (MY PEOPLE FUCKERS) can barely earn enough for a decent meal. Yes, I agree completely with you except for the 'scum-of-the-earth' part. They are worse than scum. They are the scum that got stuck to my boot right after it got run over by a herd of angry skunks that escaped from a vat of liquid shit. Fuck them. I hate them. Sarawakians hate them. Next general elections.. WATCH OUT.
ReplyDeleteFUCK THIS SHIT, PISS AND CORRUPTION, $4.34 A FUCKING GALLON. THE ONES WHOME ARE BEHIND THIS WILL ROTT IN THE SCUM OF FUCKING HELL.
ReplyDeleteyou cuss out your sentiments in a way i can only do in my dreams. =) you go girl!
